Notwithstanding, that yet again what happened in 2021 and some other years, our special day, CANOC DAY falls this time in the middle of the cauldron of the Birmingham 2022 Games.
Therefore there is a lot of activity to focus the attention of our Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committee members. However, it is important that we always acknowledge our day, CANOC’s Birthday, and reflect on how far we have come from, in particular, this year coming off of the hosting in Guadeloupe of the historical and first ever Caribbean Games.
We have a lot to be proud of on this CANOC DAY 2022.
As we look forward to the future, we can take confidence from our unity, our common and shared values, mission and purpose, as we in CANOC strive individually and collectively to continue to make a positive difference in the lives of the youth and young people throughout our region and in our societies and communities.
