The Gold Coast 2018 Queen’s Baton is bound for the Caribbean following the completion of its journey across Africa.
THE QUEEN’S Baton Relay will stop off in Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday, as part of the baton’s 388-day trip throughout all the nations and territories of the Commonwealth region.
Commonwealth Games Associations (CGAs) have officially marked the one-year-to-go milestone to Gold Coast 2018.
The host city led the celebrations, which began with an early risers breakfast event hosted by several well-known athletes at The Star Gold Coast, one of the Games’ sponsors.
Port of Spain, Trinidad. The Trinidad and Tobago Commonwealth Games Association (TTCGA) joins the Commonwealth nations in celebrating one year to the XXI Commonwealth Games. From 4th – 15th April 2018, over 6,600 athletes and team officials from 70 nations and territories will converge on the Gold Coast for an 11-day sporting and cultural event.
