                 Akeem carries TTO hopes for Paralympic Games



















































            Team TTO will be back at the Paralympic Games after not fielding a team in Tokyo in
            2021 because of the challenges associated with the Covid-19 lockdown. Franka Philip
            looks at the prospects for this country’s para-athletes in Paris.



            All eyes are on Akeem Stewart, this country’s record breaking athlete who will be this country’s lone representative at the
            2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. He last competed at the Rio Games in 2016 where he won two medals – a gold and a
            silver.
